Save Community Care Foundation (SCCF) is an incredibly vital nonprofit organization doing excellent work in Uganda. Established in 2010, it is a wholly independent and indigenous community-based organization registered with the Ministry of Internal Affairs through the NGO Board.
SCCF-Uganda is primarily concerned with helping disadvantaged persons, particularly vulnerable children, disabled individuals, aged women (including young and single mothers and widows), displaced people, the illiterate, and young children living in rural and remote areas communities. Their work is vital and positively impacts many people’s lives.

SCCF and the children in Kaliro

We make it possible for others

We work with poor rural communities including disabled, aged women and vulnerable children, especially young single mothers, widows, displaced persons, the illiterate and young children.

To work towards eliminating violations of rights, poverty, and illiteracy through capacity building and initiation of self-help projects
To build a society whose human rights are protected, the untapped potential of individuals is built and empowered to take responsibility for their development.
Our core values rest on four main pillars namely: Teamwork-make us stronger together, Respect for our volunteers and partners, Excellence an financial accountability.

Our Impact

As an organization, we have had the privilege of making a significant impact on those who are less fortunate. Thanks to the generosity of volunteers such as yourselves, we have delivered food to hungry families and vulnerable children, which has made a tremendous difference. However, we still have much work to do. The Ryvanz-Mia Foodshare Programs have made a significant difference in the lives of children in Kaliro, and continous support to help extend our reach. Your support is crucial to enable us to continue providing aid and assistance to those who need it most.

Would you please consider pledging your time or assistance to our cause by signing up to volunteer? You can make a difference by donating your time to deliver food to hungry families or by offering support to older people in your community. We also appreciate those who can help us fundraise and request donations to keep vulnerable children in school. Whatever you can do will go a long way to impact the lives of those we serve positively.

We couldn't reach this far without the help of people like you.

Help us to continue with our work to empower, support community-identified educational improvements for vulnerable children, youth, single women and small communities with one-time, monthly or annually donations. This little donation can go a long way to take a child out of poverty.
